Davey is a stray kitten that a kind man found on a local road in Florida. The kitten was seriously injured. He was left lying half dead on the road after being hit by a car. His situation seemed very grim, but, fortunately, the kind person saved him and turned to the local Caring Fields Felines rescue service for help.
Rescuers immediately took him to an animal hospital, where veterinarians took an X-ray so they could see the extent of his injury. The poor kitten was injured in the accident. His neck was broken, and he had to be put in a cast for 10 weeks.
The veterinarians of the veterinary clinic began to take care of Davey. He seemed to be feeling well. Now he has been in a cast for 6 weeks and is recovering very well. He will be in a cast for 3-4 weeks before starting physical therapy.
The cat is sometimes called a little burrito because when wrapped it looks like a burrito. In order not to leave the cat alone every night, one of the staff of the veterinary clinic took him to his home. He had a dog at home named Oakley. The dog has fallen in love with Davey and considers the kitten his new best friend.
When he recovers and becomes a normal kitten again, he will be sent for adoption. Now he is making new friends and is on his way to finding his home. We hope he finds a good homeowner and the loving home he deserves.
