Sometimes a dog becomes a person’s most faithful and only friend. And then the owner is ready to do anything to keep the pet alive and make it happy. Below we will talk about the heroic deed of the most ordinary man.
The pensioner was living a quiet and peaceful life. He had no family or friends, but a faithful four-legged friend – a dog. The man lived with his pet for ten years, and the pet shared with him all the joys and sorrows, replacing the family.
On one of my walks, something unusual and scary happened. The always cheerful and active dog suddenly lost consciousness. The frightened owner, having recovered from the first shock, immediately took the pet to the veterinary clinic. After the examination the vet informed the owner with unpleasant news: it turned out that the dog suffered from a severe cardiovascular disease. If the vet didn’t help in time the dog’s heart could stop beating at any moment.
Fortunately, there was a chance for salvation. The doctor said that a complex operation could help, but it must be carried out by an experienced specialist. Finding a qualified surgeon willing to take on such a difficult case was not easy. The man began his search and almost despaired, but he found out that the right doctor exists. However, he lived in distant Japan, and asked a considerable sum of $50,000 for his services.
Although a lot of money was needed, the retiree decided to try to save his faithful friend. But in order to do so, he had to spend his life savings. These funds were the man’s last savings, but he simply could not leave his dog without help.
The expensive surgery was successful. After it, the dog recovered very quickly and soon began to lead a normal active dog life: frolicking in the fresh air, running in the park for pigeons and barking at passersby.
No one knows how long the dog, rescued by his owner, will live. But the man hopes that he will enjoy his loyalty and selfless love for a long time.
The owner of the sick dog does not regret the fact that he lost all his money. After all, the main thing is the health and life of his faithful four-legged friend.
