When visiting the lake in the height of summer, the last thing to expect is a family of bears swimming with swimmers.
Well, that’s exactly what happened with Norma Alvarez and dozens of other people on the beach of Lake Tahoe in California.
The bathers couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw a bear and her two adorable cubs wading into the water to cool off in the middle of the day. It was a hot summer day and the beach was full of people when unexpected visitors decided to splash around.
The toddlers seemed so excited to play in the water, and judging by their behavior, it wasn’t the first time they had experienced such activity.
Needless to say, they weren’t bothered at all by all these curious people who were filming the charming scene that unfolded in front of them.
Finally, after a few minutes of splashing, the bear took two cubs out of the water.
Before heading back to the forest, a short walk along the beach followed, as if nothing had happened and no one was there.
