This time the mother cat saved the lives of eight orphaned hedgehogs. Soon after birth, these tiny creatures lost their mothers.
They were born in the Zoo. The orphaned hedgehogs were weak and helpless and struggled to survive.
Zoo staff tried to bottle-feed them, but it didn’t work. The babies could not eat on their own.
After two days, they got hungry. Poor hedgehogs needed their mother’s warmth, love and comfort to survive.
Then the zoo workers brought the babies to the cat Musya — a caring, calm and kind cat.
They didn’t even expect what could happen. Her reaction was unexpected. This selfless cat immediately adopted the orphaned children as her own kittens.
Musya, who not so long ago raised her kittens and still gave milk, easily became a mother to these little creatures.
These little creatures recognized Musya as their mother.
