The sick puppy lived in a garage behind an apartment building in St. Louis.
At the same time, local residents threw unnecessary objects and furniture into the garage and did not notice this furry resident.
And though Chowder was used to such a life, he hoped for a miracle…
Once in Chowder’s life, a miracle happened. On a rainy day, a kind man noticed him.
He fed the puppy and watered him. The man was surprised how much Chowder trusted him:
«As soon as I got closer, Chowder ran to meet me. He’s an incredibly nice guy. He was happy that someone treated him well,» the man said.
The man called Stray Rescue to take care of the dog. One of the volunteers immediately took the puppy.
This kid immediately trusted the rescuers. They successfully delivered him to the shelter.
All the way in the car, Chowder hugged the volunteer, as if he sincerely thank her for saving him.
And in the orphanage, this boy opened up even more. He was so happy to be rescued.
Veterinarians found a serious eye infection in the dog. They started treating his eyes.
When Chowder recovered a little and got rid of stress, he was sent to his temporary home.
Chowder is a wonderful boy, well-mannered, affectionate and very grateful.
