Animal Control Officer Sharon Norton of Brookhaven, Missouri, posted a dramatic photo on Facebook on Monday.
The cruel owner threw the chair away with the dog. The dog was extremely emaciated because it was guarding the chair instead of getting its own food.
Norton left a stern message to the person who dumped the puppy.
«To the man who abandoned this chair! Your dog was waiting for your return, slowly starving to death because he was afraid to walk away from this place to find food,» Norton wrote on Facebook. «Shame on you for doing this to this puppy … One day the boomerang will come to you too.»
WBTV reports that the puppy has been fed and is now being treated before finding him a new owner.
