Along the road at the edge of the forest, a tiny kitten lay in the grass. People rarely visited that place, and the kitten could not have been there on its own. The baby was all wet and exhausted in the rain. She was hard to see in that place.
However, one girl did notice the kitten. When the little cat saw the girl, she wanted to get up and go out to meet her. But the baby collapsed back into the wet grass. She tried to meow, but even that failed. The kitty only looked hopefully in her eyes at the girl who had decided to save her.
After she looked at the baby up close, she saw that her hind and front paws did not obey the baby. How did this happen? Could it be because the cat was thrown away? Weren’t they happy with the «broken toy»? I want to believe that the kitten ended up in that place by accident, without anyone’s help. Anything can happen.
The girl put the kitten in a carrier and took her to the vet. X-rays confirmed the prognosis: the animal had broken front and back legs. A two-hour surgery was performed, a spoke was inserted. The doctor was afraid to do surgery on the second leg at once. After all, the kitten was very exhausted and could not bear it. That’s why we decided to postpone the operation until the little one got stronger.
We named this beautiful cat Musa. A few days later she went to the vet again and to our great joy we found out that the bones in her front leg had begun to heal on their own.
For over a month now, Musa has been living with the girl who rescued her. She has a beautiful patchwork color: white in front, with black and red spots on the back. The color on her face is symmetrical and her eyes are a beautiful shade of brown.
Musa is a very smart and affectionate kitty. She immediately mastered the litter box, and her appetite is enviable. The spike from her hind paw was already removed and the cat was spayed right away, she is now 4 months old.
