A company of tourists in the USA was sailing on a boat on the river, when suddenly they noticed an animal on the rocks near the shore. It turned out to be a sloth, which they saw just in time.
Seeing that the animal had fallen into the river and could not get out on its own, the tourists decided to help him as soon as possible.
A couple of men got out of the boat on the shore. They found strong sticks that the sloth could cling to. They brought the stick closer to him. It was as if he knew that he was being rescued. He immediately reached for the stick with his paws.
The sloth caught its paws on a stick, and it was successfully pulled ashore. The children from the boat were shouting:
«Let’s do it!», «Well done, you did it!» in farewell to the sloth.
Judging by the satisfied expression of the sloth’s muzzle, he himself was happy to be saved!
Then the men took him to the forest and put him on a tree, where the sloth remained. He looked back at his rescuers and seemed to smile in gratitude. Thanks to the kind people for saving this friend!
