A couple weeks ago, Lindsay Lohan gave birth to her firstborn. The actress became a mom at the age of 37. Now she lives in Dubai with her husband and child. Lindsay used to often talk about the fact that she would like to have children, and finally her dream came true.
In 2020, Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas revealed that they were dating, and a year later the young man made his beloved a marriage proposal. In November 2022, in an interview, the actress admitted that she would very much like to have children.
In March this year, Lindsay Lohan posted a photo of a baby bodysuit on her social media page and wrote that she and her husband were expecting a child. Fans immediately began to congratulate on the imminent addition to the family, and the post itself collected more than 2 million likes.
In June, Lohan starred for the cover of Allure and gave an interview to the publication. There she shared her emotions about her pregnancy. The actress stated that she is now experiencing her best moment in life, and added:
“I can’t wait to find out what it feels like and what it’s like to just be a mom.”
On July 17, Lindsay and her husband Bader Shammas announced that they had a son. In a statement, they said:
“We are happy to the moon and back”.
The couple named the baby boy with the beautiful Arabic name Luay.
Many people remember Lindsay Lohan for her brilliantly played role in “Freaky Friday” (2003). There she starred as a 17-year-old teenager. In the plot of this movie, the daughter, the role of which just performs Lohan, and her mother (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) switched bodies. Because of this, they got into many absurd situations.
Just recently, the actresses said that they are preparing to star in the sequel of this movie. Disney has confirmed the information that the new movie is to be and the script has even been written already. Lee Curtis admitted that while she was traveling the world introducing the movie “Halloween Ends,” she kept getting asked if a sequel to “Freaky Friday” was planned. When she contacted Disney and told them about the audience requests, they responded instantly. Lohan seems happy about this state of affairs, she said the following:
“Jamie and I are open to the experience. And ready to do something that people really adore.”
Incidentally, in April, Lee Curtis published a post with Lohan, in which she posted a photo of the pregnant actress and wrote:
“My friend and screen daughter is growing up! I’m so happy for her. She’s about to become a mom.”
And after the baby was born, Curtis wrote:
“This Monday is wonderful! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother.”
Apparently, Lohan is not going to stay on maternity leave, but is very worried about whether she will be able to combine motherhood and shooting in the sequel to “Freaky Friday”. In this regard, Lee Curtis gave her this advice:
“Just take the baby with you and everything will be fine.”
Hopefully, Lindsay will follow the advice of her on-screen mom, and maybe we’ll even see her baby on camera. After all, some actors prefer to star in movies with their children. For example, Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne appeared together in “Maleficent”, or Will Smith’s son appeared with his father in “The Pursuit of Happyness”.
