Unknown facts about Alain Delon

In his youth, Alain Delon wore military jackets to make it more comfortable to keep warm all the puppies he met along the way. Today, the French actor, who is 87 years old, maintains five kennels for stray dogs and cats.

“I always have a lot of dogs living in my house, I even bred a special breed myself. Dogs remind me of sick children who are only ten or fourteen years old…”

Delon has long lived in Switzerland and there is engaged in the dogs. One day, learning that some sadists have poured gasoline on the dog in Piriney and set on fire, he sent to his vet and even got a trial over the sadists. For the first time in court practice, a judge ordered that the victim, a dog named Mambo, be present in the courtroom. Alain Delon is even trying to get the dogs to have their own lawyers. By the way, the sadists were given real long sentences.

Alain Delon’s love of dogs since childhood. He says that his first dog was a Doberman named Gala.

“One day I yelled at her and even kicked her in the butt. She sat up and looked at me. I saw she was crying. Since then I’ve figured it out and now my dogs are always smiling.”

“I’m always touched by dogs that are around homeless people on the street. They don’t care that their owner is a homeless person. They love the man as a father, just as Mitterrand’s Labrador loves his master without knowing he was president of the country.

Do you think my dogs know I’m Alain Delon? They don’t care! My dogs love me, they don’t know who I am, what I do. This unconditional love, love without thought, complete and true love!”

Alain Delon is a member of the Society for the Protection of Animals. There are eight dogs living on his estate. There is also a cemetery of all his former dogs: in total there were 45 of them. In the middle of this canine necropolis he built a chapel. And after numerous appeals, he received official permission to bury himself there when that day came. He claims that this is the ultimate luxury.

But Alain Delon cares not only about dead animals. The living, who suffer, who are tormented, he cares about much more. And he and his friend Brigitte Bardot are ready to use all means to protect them!

One day, Alain Delon called a helicopter to rescue a cat whose paw had been ripped out by someone tying it to a car. Now the three-legged cat lives at his estate, as well as a three-legged rabbit.
