Luther walks 6 miles round trip every day – in the heat, rain and snow – to visit his wife in the hospital.

He has become a local celebrity in Rochester.

Many people recognize him through his daily pilgrimage. It’s not at all tiring for him.

The man could take a cab or a bus, but he doesn’t want to. Additionally, many passers-by stop and offer help.

Younger is a complex sportsman, he does daily exercises and several push-ups.

For him, walking around the city is another way to tone your muscles.

In his youth, the man was a marine, he is proud of his excellent physical fitness.

“I’m often told that I don’t look my age. Of course, since I don’t drink or smoke, I exercise every day. Because it’s the only thing that benefits the body,” explains Luther Younger.

Waverlee Younger was diagnosed with a brain tumor almost nine years ago.

The forecasts were disappointing. Experts estimated that the woman had about five years to live.

However, she proved to be extremely strong. Waverlee was not ready to give up. She has been in the hospital for nine years.

Her husband and daughter Lutheta take care of her. Luther was able to live with her in the same room for a long time, often spending the night next to his beloved. Often even on the floor due to the lack of separate beds.

Several months ago, the woman was diagnosed with pneumonia. Visits from her husband have since become frequent.
