There are owners who get rid of our smaller brothers as unnecessary things. For various reasons – old age, illness… And the dog, accustomed to trusting a person in everything, turns out to be completely helpless on the streets. And other people rushing about their business in the morning have no desire to help. There are even those who are ready to exterminate the unfortunate, considering them a threat.
But the world is not without kind people, and our story serves as proof of that.
On the street of one city, an abandoned old dog was found – a German shepherd trapped in the steep banks of a river channel. The dog could not climb up on his own and because of the steep slopes of the canal, and because of old age. And the flowing fast water doomed him to death.
But volunteers came to the rescue in time, who helped the dog get out and fed him. After long lonely wanderings, it was the first real help from people, and the dog even cried after being stroked on the head.
Biggie (the so-called sheepdog) now lives attached to a loving family, surrounded by kindness and care, and he is doing well.
