There were problems with a kangaroo named Luna. She found herself without a mother. Without the help of people, the baby would have died. But she was taken by an Australian girl Richelle Weidemann.
Luna’s mom was hit by a truck. The driver admits that in the dark he did not see a kangaroo on the road. However, the man took a small kangaroo that was in the bag of an adult animal.
So Luna started living with Richelle, who lives on a farm. The girl has a lot of pets. But she has a special relationship with kangaroos. Weidemann loves the “child”. Every three hours she feeds her and plays with her constantly. “The child grows up like a spoiled girl,” Weidemann admits.
Richelle also says that the wild animal quickly adapted to a new life. Luna has found a common language with the border collie dog Indy, who lives on a farm. Therefore, the kangaroo sometimes behaves like a dog. She sleeps on a dog bed. Sometimes a kangaroo lies down on the sofa with a girl and gently hugs her.
Of course, Luna won’t live on a farm all her life. Richelle understands this too. She knows that the kangaroo will grow up soon. She’ll have to go back to nature.
To facilitate the return home, the girl takes her pet to a local nature reserve. Here the Luna can see her loved ones and play with them.
