Many people loved comedian and actor Martin Mull. He passed away at the age of 80, according to his family.Maggie Mull, Mull’s daughter, posted the sad news on Instagram, explaining that her father had passed away at his home ‘after a courageous battle with a long illness.’
‘He was known for excelling in every creative discipline imaginable and also for doing adverts for Red Roof Inn,’ she told us.
‘This joke made him laugh. He was always funny. My father will be sorely missed by his friends, colleagues, fellow artists, comedians, musicians and, above all, many, many dogs.Mull had many different jobs throughout his career. For example, he worked with Fred Willard to write the mockumentary The History of White People in America in 1985.He loved writing songs and making people laugh. In the early 1970s, country music star Jane Morgan recorded her song A Girl Named Johnny Cash, a parody of A Boy Named Sue.
