Brigitte Bardot’s villa was devastated by water, the actress had to leave everything: “I’m afraid of…

Such a terrible situation… It sends a shudder through you to the core… Brigitte Bardot remains one of the last icons of the golden era of the Yéyé generation still alive. The former actress and French film star now lives peacefully in her house in Saint-Tropez. A villa that became famous since its illustrious owner took up residence there. In fact, she has lived there since 1958, when she was only 24 years old. Unfortunately, the vagaries of the weather have partially destroyed her home. The torrential rains that fell in the south of France caused enormous damage. Brigitte Bardot’s famous Madrague was unfortunately not spared.

Brigitte Bardot, who has little in common with the new generations, decided many years ago to gradually withdraw from the world. She therefore lives most of the time in her beautiful villa in Saint-Tropez. A house in which she lives with her husband Bernard d’Ormale. Despite their completely different rhythms of life, they always find time to spend moments together when possible. It is impossible for B.B. to live without the presence of a man by her side. “I am not really independent, contrary to what you might think. (…) I need the presence of a man.

I like good women, but not too many. Sometimes they get on my nerves with their blabber, with conversations that have no meaning. A man, at least that is my opinion, talks little, if at all, which is very good. Or, it is rare but it does happen, he talks about interesting things.” The south of France has been hit by numerous storms in recent weeks. Saint-Tropez and the Madrague were therefore not spared.

Brigitte Bardot was shocked by what she experienced. She saw her little paradise under water. Although she has lived in the region for more than six decades, it was the first time she had experienced such a downpour. “The water, driven by the incessant rain, penetrated every corner of the garden, flooded the paths, drowned the flowers and covered the vegetation with a dark, muddy layer. In the more than sixty years that I have lived here, I have never seen anything like it. It was as if the sea wanted to flood the land – and my little paradise with it.” Brigitte Bardot experienced a nightmare in her famous Madrague after the torrential rains last week.
