Annabelle Camp, originally from the United States, shared an amazing story on Facebook. One day she picked up a small, gaunt dog who had somehow ended up on the street. She had no idea the puppy would play a fatal role in her family’s life.
The girl took the baby, who was nicknamed Mason, to her home, where she lived with her grandmother. Unfortunately, the elderly woman was adamantly against keeping animals in the house and insisted that her granddaughter take the dog out of the house.
Then Annabelle tried to convince her grandmother to wait at least a week until she found new owners for the dog. But time flew by very quickly, and nobody wanted to take Mason. So she had to give the puppy to a charity organization, where he was supposed to stay while waiting for a new family. There, Mason’s health deteriorated and he was transported to the veterinary clinic.
Upon learning of this, Annabelle became hysterical and desperately begged her grandmother to allow the dog to live in their home, promising that it would not spoil anything and would not interfere. As a result of lengthy negotiations, the woman agreed, but demanded that the animal never be seen by her.
Fortunately, in the caring hands of his owner, Mason was on the mend. But the grandmother did not change her negative attitude toward him in any way. She forbade the dog to go near her bedroom or even to appear in the common hallway. Despite such conditions, Annabelle was happy to have her pet, and she believed that he came her way for a reason.
Late one night the dog climbed up on the girl’s bed and started barking loudly, trying to get her attention. The owner realized something was wrong. Mason ran into the grandmother’s room. Annabelle followed him and found Grandma unconscious. The dog was licking the woman’s cheeks and whimpering restlessly.
Thanks to the fact that Mason raised the alarm, Annabelle had time to help her grandmother and bring her to her senses. The fact is that an elderly woman sometimes faints due to heart problems. That’s why it’s very important to be with her at such moments to help her come to her senses, otherwise there may be dire consequences.
