On November 8, 1935, a boy was born who would later become, one might say, the most beautiful representative of the stronger sex of the modern era.
Alain was born in a suburb of Paris, 80 kilometers from Notre-Dame Cathedral. His mother worked as a pharmacist.
When his father opened a cinema, she went to work there as a cashier. But when the boy was 3 years old, his parents separated.
Later, they both started their own families. Thus, the future actor had step-siblings.
Alain’s stepfather worked in a butcher shop, and his mother also worked there. The parents had little time for Alain, so they found him a nanny.
It turned out that the child lived with two families. As the actor later recounted, he liked it at first, but later it seemed as if no one cared about him.
He did very poorly at school. He also often got into trouble. He was often expelled from school and therefore changed schools frequently.
But the boy had a love of music and played the piano. He was honored several times for his participation in concerts. But this passion quickly faded.
He then studied to become a butcher. After that, he worked in a butcher shop for three months and then moved to a store.
He then completed his military service, which, according to the actor’s accounts, had a positive influence on his character. After returning from military service, he worked as a waiter.
And so his various film auditions began.
