It is very difficult for stray cats to live, the lack of shelter and food, as well as the cruel treatment of them, leaves a deep mark on their little souls.
All of them are in a deplorable state, as is the cat from Massachusetts. Although he was very lucky because he was caught in order to save him.
Frisbee (the cat’s name) was found and caught by rescuers from the Lowell Trap Neuter Return Coalition and sent to the Animal Rescue Society in Salisbury.
The website of the Animal Rescue Society says: “Our founders were among the first in the country to use the “catch, litter and bring back to normal life” method to improve the lives of stray cats.”
Then a whole raid was carried out to catch abandoned cats. When most of the animals were captured, they were marked with special tags and fed twice a day. They were also monitored by veterinarians. Those cats that demonstrated the ability to return to their former lives with humans were placed in foster care.
The peach Frisbee cat was in bad shape. His fur was dirty and piled up, and he also had very rotten teeth.
As the rescuers wrote: “He was found with a terribly rolled-up hair (this has never been seen before), very thin and hungry. The cat was caught as part of the “catch, litter and bring back to normal life” program and soon noticed that he was very friendly and needed serious dental surgery.”
The cat was put in order, his teeth were brushed, the pellets were cut and he was bathed. In one day, the Frisbee was transformed beyond recognition.
The photo of the cat was uploaded to the official page on the social networks of this organization and signed: “We hope that soon Frisbee will have a new home! Come this week to meet him and our other cats! »
Fortunately, our hero of this story was taken away just a week later and now he even has a favorite chair in his new home. The fur that had been shaved off by the rescuers had already grown back.
