Not so long ago, DJ Akademiks, aka Kanye West’s close friend, posted a photo of a single-seat car resembling the Batmobile on his Instagram. In the publication, he left a short caption that reads, “Kanye has acquired a ‘Yemobile.'” The so-called “Yemobile” is a Mono supercar from Briggs Automotive Company, which was founded in 2009. The first Mono lineup was introduced in 2011, and the second generation arrived just a year ago.
Inspired by the look of this car, we decided to make a list of stylish cars of other celebrities. After all, taste combined with wealth gives extremely curious results.
Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic. Owner: Ralph Lauren
This is not the Bugatti Veyron that many lovers of fast supercars have. This is a real exclusive in two copies. One is in the Los Angeles Automobile Museum and the other is in the possession of Ralph Laurent. Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic is straight from the 1930s, and its value was last estimated at 40 million dollars. So you could say Laurent is driving a treasure chest. By the way, this car is still considered the world’s first supercar, so it’s not just elegant, but also productive.
Ford Bronco. Owner: Lady Gaga
Nothing supernatural, just Lady Gaga loves not only luxurious supercars like Lamborghini Huracán, but also a simple Ford Bronco, which makes you feel not just a car owner, but a real cowboy.
Rolls-Royce Wraith. The owner: Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber once wanted a futuristic Rolls-Royce that would be ahead of its time. So he turned to the guys at West Coast Customs to help him out. Not thinking long, the customization masters took the Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 concept car as a reference and created something similar on the basis of Rolls-Royce Wraith. Some people found the result questionable, others liked it. What do you think?
Lamborghini Aventador. Owner: Nicki Minaj
Judging by this Lamborghini Aventador, you can see what Nicki Minaj’s favorite color is. We have to say that we like it too – so gentle, bright and at the same time daring. Someone will say that the color of the car is too flashy, but if you are a talented artist who is loved by millions of listeners around the world, why not afford it?
By the way, Nicki has a Bentley Continental GT and a Range Rover in the same color. But we decided to show you the Lambo.
1976 Lotus Esprit. Owner: Ilon Musk
The story of this car deserves special attention. Once in 1989, a couple from New York bought a cat in a bag for 100 dollars. This cat in the bag was an unclaimed warehouse, in which among all sorts of junk was a Lotus Esprit 1976 production year, which was used for the filming of the movie about James Bond “The Spy Who Loved Me” (1977).
Already in 2013, this Lotus was sold at auction for one million dollars to Ilon Musk. Inspired by the old car, he later created the Tesla Cybertruck.
Rezvani TANK. Owner: Jamie Foxx
Jamie Foxx has a rather unobvious but very curious car in his garage called the Rezvani TANK. The company’s roots come from military aviation, which is why its cars are so brutal.
Fiat 126p. Owner: Tom Hanks
Once Tom Hanks was filming in Hungary and saw this miniature Fiat there. Then he fell in love with the car and bought one just like it.
