The family found two small cats inside the boat after they bought it and transported it across several states. The kittens were very small!
They were called Pistachio and Raisins!
After the family brought the kittens to the shelter, they were given to a foster family, as they were too small and needed round-the-clock care from an experienced person.
And there they met their foster mother.
They were only nine days old. But they began to recover thanks to the support of the foster mother, a mixture for kittens and a warm blanket.
These tiny fluffy babies who had not yet opened their eyes were taken in by a good foster parent who could provide round-the-clock care.
At two weeks of age, they were still underweight. But they were getting stronger and were ready to explore their surroundings!
A small Pistachio weighs 137 grams, and a Raisins weighs 121 grams.
Raisins hugs the foster mother. Take a look at these tiny marmalades!
The family that discovered them adopted them as soon as the kittens were old enough.
As you can see, they have come a long way since they were discovered as stowaways!
