This story tells about a small kitten who was found on the street in an unhealthy and very emaciated state. The kitten was taken to a local shelter to provide the necessary assistance.
The story took place in California (San Jose). On one of the streets, passers-by found two kittens very emaciated, who were in an unhealthy state, hungry and frozen. Kind people took these kittens and gave them to the rescuers “Mini Cat Town”. And then the kittens got into a local shelter.
The kittens were very weak and were not even able to eat on their own. The shelter staff had to feed the kittens themselves through a special bottle with a pacifier and restore their health. They were two girls and their lives were in big question. But everyone hoped that they would pull through and everything would be fine.
Unfortunately, one of the kittens could not survive. Injections and ivs did not help her, and her weight did not want to recover in any way. But the second girl did not give up so easily and continued to fight for her life. All employees took care of the kitten around the clock and fought for her life. They named the kitten with the beautiful name Nikiya.
Gradually, the fragile kitten began to gain weight and regain strength. She became more active and well-fed. A miracle happened. The kitten survived, thanks to the round-the-clock efforts of the shelter staff and the kitten’s strong desire to live.
