A woman took her dog to the groomer. However, a few hours later, she accidentally returned with another four-legged animal.
Tykesha Cherry always took Lucky with her to the salon, where dogs are washed, trimmed, and groomed.
When the woman picked up her pet, she didn’t immediately realize it wasn’t her dog. She put fake Lucky in the passenger seat of the car to drive home. At first, Tykesha thought the groomer had cut the dog shorter than usual, so he looked different.
Later, however, she noticed that Lucky didn’t respond to the nickname, often turning away and getting angry. There was only one conclusion: this wasn’t her dog. Tykesha took the dog back to the groomer to give him to his real owner and return him to Lucky.
She came to the door at the same time as another girl, who, upon seeing the dog in her arms, said, “Hi, Bentley!”
“I asked, ‘Is this your dog?'” The girl replied, “Yes.” “At that moment, everyone in the salon was very surprised,” Tykesha recalls. So Bentley went back to his owner, and Lucky went back to his owner. Grumer was shocked by the situation and apologized.
“I was so relieved when I took Lucky. I hope he didn’t see me leaving the salon with another dog,” Tykesha said.
