After six years, the family had a second child, who also suffers from this genetic disorder… Patricia Williams gave birth to her third child, Redd, in 2012. Redd was born with unusually white hair and charming almond eyes. Initially, doctors and parents thought the boy was just blond, but as Redd grew older, it became clear that he had albinism. Doctors began to ask if there were any family members with the disease.
After much thought, the couple finally remembered that Patricia, their 85-year-old grandmother, was born platinum blonde and was the only one on an Indian reservation. She was albino, but had never noticed it, although doctors found evidence to the contrary.
However, genes are inherited because they cannot be hidden. Incidentally, her grandmother found a photo of her and her Indian relatives in the collection, in which she is the only blonde. After six years, the family had a second child who also suffers from this genetic disorder. The children are growing up alive and healthy and, apart from the hair and eye color, the disease has shown no other signs of manifestation. Advertising agencies are already contacting the great Redd with offers for photo shoots for their clients.
The parents of Rockwell (2) and Redd (9) find the special attention given to their children amusing. And they don’t mind if passers-by take photos of the children as long as they don’t have a problem with it.
