This Greek cafe does not close at night: therefore, homeless animals can sleep inside.

In the city of Mytilene on the island of Lesbos there is a modest establishment with the prosaic name Hot Spot. The most ordinary cafe with tables and chairs, with a small staff and a simple menu. It is unlikely that it will catch the eye in daylight.

The most interesting thing begins exactly when night falls and people are going to go to bed.

The owners close the front door and open the back door so that stray dogs and cats can get in there. No, it’s not an animal shelter. No one cares about them here.

It’s just that the owners of the cafe decided that it would be more convenient for animals to sleep on sofas and chairs than on cold stones on the sidewalk.

No one has a problem with this — animals sleep on chairs every night.
