This morning an 18-year-old girl gave birth to a baby girl 👶

When I arrived at the maternity ward that evening with contractions, my husband and I were anxiously awaiting the birth of our fourth child. Our family was already “desperately large.”

Our second and third sons are twins – although there were no twins in our family before. During the next pregnancy attempt, the family joke was: “What if it’s twins again?”

The grandparents were very surprised and had to help a lot at the beginning. At the second ultrasound, we could already tell if it would be twins again.

But no – the fourth “ninja” came alone. Finally, it was all over. We were taken to a private single room, which my husband and I had paid for in advance.

A few hours later, they brought the baby to me to breastfeed. A few minutes later, the head doctor entered with a worried look on his face and said, “We have a small problem…”

This morning, an 18-year-old girl gave birth to her daughter, signed a declaration, called a taxi, and left the hospital.

She could barely walk after the birth, but didn’t want to stay a moment longer. We had to let her go.

The baby is beautiful and healthy. I know how much you wanted twins. – I thought maybe you would take this baby?

– We could write that you gave birth… – I just don’t want the child to end up in an orphanage. What kind of life is that for a baby? It breaks my heart… Of course, it’s illegal.

An official adoption process could be initiated, but that takes months, and there are no guarantees. – And until then, the baby would be in the orphanage.

It’s sad… To be honest, I was shocked… I knew the matron, Lyudmila Stepanovna, very well. She was a very kind and friendly woman. We even talked outside the hospital.

Perhaps that’s why she came to me with this “smooth” proposal.
