Many people trust the power of prayer and rely on their faith when they hope for something impossible. They probably want their dreams to come true, but it’s not always easy.
One woman in Utah desperately wanted to grow her family and even tried fertility treatment. But it didn’t work, so she tried another approach: prayer. If you don’t believe in miracles, this mom’s story might convince you!
Everyone knows that having twins is a rare phenomenon, since only some parents have the honor of welcoming more than one child simultaneously. But giving birth to triplets naturally is even rarer.
Audrey Tiberius, however, was different. She longed to have more babies, but the doctors didn’t think that was a realistic goal.
When the woman was 41, fertility specialists told her she had only a 10% chance of conceiving a child through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
She recounted, «They said, ‘I’m sorry, your eggs are too old. We did three rounds of in vitro fertilization, and they all failed.»
Indeed, Audrey and her husband, Tyler Tiberius, 41, were disappointed. However, they were grateful for the four sons they already had. Marcus, James, Christian and Max meant the world to them and brought them endless joy.
For all that, the mother continued to desire a larger family and kept her faith. She recounted:
«I prayed and prayed for five years to have more children because I always wanted a really big family, and seven was kind of my number.»
So at age 45, Audrey received the news she had always dreamed of. It took her years to realize it and a lot of faith, but it finally happened: she was pregnant. The family was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to meet their next baby.
However, her doctors had more to say, and the news shocked everyone. In fact, Audrey wasn’t just carrying one baby. She was expecting three!
«There is no other explanation but that it was a miracle. What a gift from God!» the mother exclaimed.
Having identical triplets at age 46 is exceptionally rare, and after talking to a statistician, Audrey said the odds of it happening are one in 20 billion. In fact, she was not far from saying that it was as if something supernatural had happened.
Audrey was aware of the high risk of miscarriage at her age, but she prayed for her unborn babies. She trusted her body and thought everything would work out as planned. Fortunately, it did.
Sky, River and Bay were born in March 2022 and gave their mother one of her heart’s greatest desires: to have seven children. Audrey is indeed a committed mom and is proud of what her body can do.
She pumps breast milk, burps, feeds and changes babies all day long. This dedicated mom does it all with a smile. However, it is a challenge, and Audrey shared:
«It’s kind of crazy sometimes when you can’t tell who’s who. They look so much alike.»
Audrey felt like her life had completely changed because of her adorable babies. Although she is thrilled and content with her large family, the mother still doesn’t rule out having more children.
She always wanted a daughter, and her husband supported that desire. In fact, Audrey and Tyler said there is no limit, adding, «So maybe we’re not done. Who knows?».
For the record, the mother of seven shared her story to raise awareness about fertility issues. She stated:
«Physicians need to talk to women about fertility and the options available to them to save them heartache.»
