When airport staff heard a strange and loud noise coming from a stationary plane, none of them expected this scene!

At Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, workers were astonished when they encountered an unexpected stowaway in a parked airplane. A red tiger cat was crouching in the cockpit, resting peacefully by the window—a scene no one had expected.

Since a cat couldn’t get onto the plane on its own, airport staff suspected it had been abandoned by a passenger. The Boeing had last flown from Dubai on January 24 and had sat untouched at the airport ever since. It wasn’t until February 7—two weeks later—that someone finally noticed the animal’s presence.

Miraculously, the cat was surprisingly well when rescued, despite going 14 days without food or water. Airport staff quickly examined it and ensured it had suffered no lasting damage.

Although the cat emerged unscathed from its adventure, the same cannot be said for the interior of the plane. Scratches and bite marks on the seats and paneling showed how the trapped animal had coped with its unexpected situation.

The big mystery now is who owns this resilient cat. Authorities hope the owner will come forward to reclaim their adventurous pet. If no one claims her, they hope she finds a loving new home—without any further unexpected stops.
