Many people dream of long, thick hair, but for this you need two conditions.
Firstly, you have to be extraordinarily patient, growing your hair, and then spending a lot of time taking care of it.
Secondly, you can not do without the right set of genes: if your hair is brittle and thin from birth, cosmetics will not help.
Aliona Kravchenko, 34, from Odessa, was lucky with both patience and genes. She is called Rapunzel for her gorgeous 1.8-meter-long hair!
Aliona has been growing her hair since she was five years old, on her mother’s advice.
“My mother instilled in me a love for long hair since childhood,” she says.
She hasn’t cut her hair in almost 30 years – and she has no intention of doing so, even though her hair has long outgrown her height (1.68 m).
“I love my hair so much that I’ve never thought for a second about getting a haircut. I can’t see or imagine myself with short or dyed hair!”
Although taking care of such hair takes time, Aliona does not complain because she loves her hair so much.
“I don’t find it hard to wear my hair like this and take care of it all the time, it makes me happy, because it’s a part of me – my beauty and my wealth!”
To keep her hair healthy, the woman dries it in the air and nourishes it with special products.
“The most important thing I never do: I don’t blow dry my hair, I don’t use curling irons, I don’t comb wet hair (it dries naturally), it’s all taboo. I wash my hair once a week, use natural masks, different oils to nourish my hair; the main care is professional cosmetics. I also, of course, use dried fruits, nuts and cottage cheese.”
The main advice for those who want such beautiful hair is very simple:
“For you to have long beautiful hair, you just have to want and love it.”
