The father-son singing duo on Britain’s Got Talent reminded an emotional Simon Cowell of his own boy, Eric

The father-son singing duo really resonated with Simon Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent.

The formidable judge, nicknamed Mr. Nasty, shows a softer side after watching Tim and Jack Goodacre’s incredible performance.

Schoolboy Jack, 12, and father Tim, 43, amaze the audience with their own original song, “The Lucky One’s,” which they perform on acoustic guitar.

Jack, who has been singing since he was 5 years old, explains that the song they wrote together was about family loss and how lucky they are.

The father-son duet from Norwich, leads the judges in amazement.

Amanda Holden is left in tears, Dec Donnelly holds his hands to his heart, while Simon Cowell leads the standing ovation.

“Great song, it reminded me a bit of my boy,” says emotional Simon.

“I’ve got to tell you, you two are just fantastic. That was a moment, so pure, so great.”
