That’s boring.’ I asked her why she wanted transparent polish and she replied: ‘My hands are not beautiful, I don’t want to draw attention to them.’ Then I said carefully: ‘Your hands tell the story of your life.
They tell of love, care and adventures. With these hands you have touched and held things that many can only dream of.’ She then chose a pink nail polish. Sometimes what we perceive as a lack is something beautiful for others.”
