When it comes to our children, we all like to think that they are the most beautiful things to have ever walked on this earth.
Of course, we tend to be somewhat biased, given that we are… well, you know, parents. We love them and cherish them above all, so it’s reasonable to look at them without any objectivity.
No one can deny that this five-year-old Nigerian girl has a truly striking appearance, with many calling her ‘the most beautiful in the world.
When photographer Mofe Bamuyiwai shared photos of the young Jare Ijalana on social media, she could never have predicted the people’s reaction. The images quickly went viral, with people largely commenting on Jare’s natural beauty.
The three posts have, to date, garnered over 70,000 likes on Instagram, and it’s not so difficult to understand why.
Bamuyiwa captioned one of the photos: ‘I want to portray the crossing between her childhood and adulthood so that both remain timeless! I could have made her smile and laugh out loud, but I placed her in natural poses so that we could see ourselves through her eyes!
‘Jare is not a professional model,’ Bamuyiwa explained to Yahoo Lifestyle. ‘All I want is for everyone to see Jare’s powerful potential. I want the photo to speak to her when she reaches adulthood.’
It seems that photogenicity is an inherent trait in the family, at least. Jare’s older sisters, Jobi, 7 years old, and Joba, 10 years old, have also been photographed by Mofe, and they are apparently just as memorable.
‘On the other hand [Jobi] is brilliant and beautiful, she is very coordinated, and for every directed pose, she did better than what I told her to do. She undoubtedly supported me and gave me proof that every little girl dreams of being a woman,’ Bamuyiwa wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
All children are beautiful in their own way, and they all deserve to be told so. That being said, it seems that Jare has a bright future ahead of her when it comes to being photographed.
