This dog expressed his gratitude in the best way – with a kiss!
The tragedy ended with a very touching moment on Friday, November 27, when a man and his dog were rescued from a flood. The McKinney Fire Department was called to the scene by a man who was swept under the bridge. And with him was his German Shepherd.
The man managed to use his mobile phone to call for help While waiting for help to arrive, the man put the dog on his shoulders. He was stuck in a tree that wouldn’t let him move.
Firefighters then found him using the GPS of his mobile phone.
When firefighters arrived, they lifted the man and dog out of the water using a ladder and ropes. After a long rescue operation, the man and the dog returned safely to land.
Without wasting a second, the dog immediately pounced on the firefighter who saved him and thanked him with a kiss. This whole touching moment was captured on camera, as can be seen in the photo below.
The man and the dog are doing well now.
