Losing a child is one of the worst experiences we can go through. We are just happy that this story ended well.
One day, a three-year-old Marshal disappeared from his home in Ponce de Leon, Florida. He was only wearing a diaper.
Marshal suffers from autism and cannot speak. Therefore, his family was much more worried about the chances of saving the boy.
The positive thing was that the Marshal was not completely alone. He disappeared along with their two family dogs, Nala and Buckwheat.
The Marshal’s aunt, Kayla Steward, speaking to WJHG, told reporters, “We were in a panic. All sorts of catastrophic scenarios were running through our heads. ”
Neighbors joined the sheriff’s department in the search for the boy. “When it comes to finding a child, minutes are important,” said Corey Dobridnia, news manager at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
Later that day, Carol Shelton, one of the neighbors, noticed the boy about a mile from her house.
He was with his guardian angels, Nala and Buckwheat, who were obviously with him all the way!
“His dogs were with him,” Shelton recalls, “We assume that the dogs were guiding him in some way. I think they saved him.
Everyone at the sheriff’s office was glad that the child was found, and asked one of their captains to take the child to the mother.
The Marshal was in a good mood when he was found. A little dirty because of life in the forest, but unharmed and happy.
Dogs are loyal creatures. They stayed with the boy and watched him until he was found.
