What comes to your mind when you think of dog kennels. Probably a small kennel with a hole in it so the doggie can get in. If that’s what you’re thinking about, that’s okay. That’s the first thing that comes to many people’s minds.
But David Connelly has built something quite different. David works as a builder. And one day he decided to build a house for his dog Maya. The house turned out to be just awesome.
Inside, there’s a nightlight for cozy evenings, an insulated ceiling and a heater for winter. And outside, there’s a red mailbox so you can keep in touch with Maya and a ladder that leads to the balcony. The balcony is in the shade so the dog can watch from there even in sunny weather. And if it’s cold outside, the dog can watch from the big windows of the house.
According to David, he just adores Maya. She is a great companion and his best friend. And the house is just a way of expressing his love for her.
