A rare brown husky has become a social media star.
More than 114 thousand users have followed the dog’s page on Instagram.
It is known that the dog’s name is SeQuoi or Quoi.
His owner, Niki, said that the idea came from a sequoia tree.
“They say a name can really shape a person, so I wanted it to be big and tall and strong like a sequoia tree,” she added.
The dog has bright blue eyes and brown fur, although he is 100% husky. According to Nicky, thanks to this, the pet is often in the spotlight.
“Brown Huskies are extremely rare, so it’s no surprise that Quoi gets a lot of attention. Everywhere we go, people stop to pet him,” Nicky noted.
“Strangers ask me at least 3-5 times: “Who is he?” And when I say “Siberian Husky”, no one ever believes, although he is AKC certified and 100% Siberian Husky,” added the dog’s owner.
It is known that in the beginning, Niki wanted to adopt a completely different dog until she met Quoi.
“Although he was not the dog I was looking for, he was exactly the dog that I needed. Loving and mischievous,” the owner concluded.
