Australia is home to many amazing and wonderful creatures. And you’ve probably heard a lot about the interaction of humans and animals and interesting events happening to them. So I’m sure no one will be surprised to learn that golden retriever Asha has befriended a koala cub in Strathdowney, western Victoria.
Temperatures in Australia can drop to 5C or 41F, which can be quite cold for most animals. Well, not for Asha because of her very thick fur. But it will be difficult for a baby koala to cope with such a temperature. But luckily for the baby koala, Asha was here to help.
Meet Asha and her loving hostess Kerry McKinnon.
One morning, when Kerry was at home, she was pleasantly surprised.
She said: «It was quite early in the morning, and my husband called for me to come to see a strange thing».
At first she didn’t understand what her husband wanted her to see. And when she came up, she immediately saw this tiny koala with a dog.
This koala cuddled with Asha to keep warm. And Asha was more than happy to help.
Kerry never expected to see a tiny koala cuddling up to her dog. After the initial surprise and confusion, she started laughing and couldn’t stop.
«I just started laughing. But Asha didn’t know what to do. She kept looking at me with such a confused look, » the owner said.
